Tempe Camera, now celebrating over 35 years of business, would like to thank you, our friends and patrons, for your continued support throughout these many years of growth.
Our business philosophy is a simple one: Provide our customers with good service at reasonable prices. While Tempe Camera has grown to be the largest photographic shop in Arizona, we remain a community-oriented enterprise and are proud that many of our customers become our friends. Our specialty is personal service. We are committed to serving the photographic community by providing aspiring and professional shooters with a reliable resource for their imaging needs.
As founder and owner of Tempe Camera, Joseph Wojcich has received many awards. His most notable recognitions include the 1994 Small Business Person of the year award for the state of Arizona by the U.S. Small Business Administration and several Best of Phoenix Photography Store awards by New Times. He considers these honors a result of a hard working staff and satisfied customers.
Tempe Camera is the state’s only one-stop imaging store. Our Sales Department offers both new and used equipment including cameras, lenses, lighting, printers, LCD and HD TV’s, darkroom gear… Trade-ins are welcomed towards new purchases.
Our Rental Center continues to expand to include lenses, digital and film cameras and accessories, computer projectors for Power Point presentations and lighting and grip equipment for professionals shooting in studios or on location.
The Repair Department can service what we sell, usually in-house; our technicians have a combined 80 years of experience and are comfortable with the latest advances.
The TCR Photo Imaging Center provides quality photo finishing from your traditional film or state-of-the-art digital cameras. Prints from wallet size photos up to 4’x10’ can be printed on high quality archival photographic paper, water color media, fine art canvas, super high gloss or back-lit display materials, along with matting, mounting and framing, and albums. We have “Dip and Dunk” E-6 film processing for 35mm to large format transparency film. Online options include easy to use FTP ordering and personalized websites where you can post your images to either view or sell to your own customers.
The Tempe Camera main building is located at 606 W. University Drive, Tempe, Arizona 85281 where you'll find our Sales Floor, Repair Department, Rental Center and administrative office and is open Mon – Fri 8am – 6pm, Sat 9am – 5pm. Our TCR Imaging Center is located right next door at 530 W. University Dr., Tempe, Arizona 85281 and is open Mon – Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-1pm. We are closed on Sundays and 6 annual holidays.
