Designed for pro-size SLRs, such as Nikon D2Xs or D2Hs, or the Canon EOS 1D Mark series.

This versatile size can hold a wide angle 2.8 lens with the hood in position, or a 24 – 70 2.8 lens with the hood reversed. When the “Pop Down” feature is allowed to extend, it will also hold a 70 – 20 2.8 with the hood reversed.

This will hold a 70 – 200 2.8 lens with the hood reversed when the “Pop Down” feature is released.

Digital Holster 40 is Great November 20, 2007

I purchased a Digital Holster 40 for my D-80 / MB-D80 / 70-200 f2.8 VR lens rig - its great!  I no longer worry about supporting the camera / heavy lens combination by the camera strap - I stick it in the case instead.  I also like the ability to have two different case depths - so when I have the 18-135 mounted, I can reduce the case length.  I was originally pining for a Lowepro Toploader 75 AW before I discovered this case and have never looked back.
