Photographic lacquer spray protection is currently available for
Giclée prints only and will continue to be available for the foreseeable
future, but environmental concerns coupled with health, handling and cost
issues put this item on the endangered species list. For the ultimate in
print protection, consider heat-set laminate (see Laminate).
Finish choices:
Diamond (Very Glossy) -
intensifies color brilliance.
Lustre (Moderate Gloss) - reduces glare reflection.
Satina - Less sheen than Lustre
but not Flat.
Flat - No sheen or reflection at all.
Brushstroke - A custom coating,
hand applied with a brush that simulates a hand painted texture. Typically
applied on canvas prints. A protective spray coating is required over a
brushstroke finish.
Service Time: 2 to 4 business days. Humidity levels
affect drying. So during rainy periods more time may be required. Diamond
finish requires extra time. Large quantities may also require additional
time.
Rush Charges: There is no rushing a spray finish.
Prices listed are for standard
front surface coatings. For Gallery Wrap coatings, add 25%.
